Leicester singer Darshna Naresh Naker passes away

Popular Leicester based singer Darshna Naresh Naker has passed away.

Her sudden demise has come as a huge shock to the local community and beyond. As well as singing, Naker’s voice played a prominent part in radio commercials on local station, Sabras Radio. She had been a regular voiceover for radio and television commercials. She was nominated for Best Female Singer at the Leicester Asian Glitz Awards.

Naker had been suffering from an illness, which she succumbed to on Saturday.
