Lead stars of ‘Rishton Se Badi Pratha’ quit

The two leading stars of ‘Rishton Se Badi Pratha’ on Colors have quit after they were unhappy with a forthcoming storyline involving a leap.

Both Vishal Karwal and Parul Chauhan who play Surbhi and Pratima have handed in their papers. In episodes yet to be screened, ‘Pratha’ will take a leap by six to seven years and soon after there will be a bigger leap where the children will grow up. According to TellyChakkar, Vishal and Parul were not keen to play parents to actors their own age. In fact, Parul put her papers in before Vishal did.

A source close to Vishal says, “He is at a stage where he is getting good offers and he wouldn�۪t want to risk his career by playing father to actors, his own age. This will obviously do him no good and the production house too understands his concern. He had a meeting with the producers and they are working on both Parul�۪s and his exit track.”
