Lead star of ZEE TV’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’ to quit?

ZEE TV’s flagship could soon be heading to troubled waters if reports are to be believed.

Sushant Singh Rajput who plays Manav on the hit show could leave the show by the end of this month. The rumour mill has been doing the rounds for several weeks but now it looks more certain than ever.

A source told TellyChakkar, “As already known to all Sushant is soon planning to opt out of the show as he wants to pursue a career in direction. It is also heard that the show will soon be heading for a leap of 15 to 20 years and Sushant does not seem to be convinced about it. Earlier it was reported that Sushant was planning to quit the show by Diwali however he has taken his decision and will leave the show by the month end. The actor will end his long stint with the show on Aug 27 which will be his last day of shoot.”
