Lata Mangeshkar continues to be on Life Support in hospital

After mixed messages surrounding veteran singer, Lata Mangeshkar’s health, it has been revealed that she is still in hospital on Life Support.

Mangeshkar was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital early Monday morning after she complained of breathing difficulties.

News18 reports Mangeshkar’s doctor, Pratit Samdani stating on Tuesday that she is “still on life support, her condition is slowly improving, but she is still critical.”

Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Dr. Samdani said, “Unless her infection gets under control, we cannot do any procedures. She is critical. It is difficult to say anything at this moment. We are monitoring her health continuously and we are hoping she will be all right.”

It is reported that Mangeshkar’s family preferred to take her home but the thorough treatment could only be carried out in hospital.
