Lata Mangeshkar admitted to hospital over breathing difficulties

The nightingale of Indian cinema, Lata Mangeshkar has been admitted to hospital Ofer breathing difficulties.

The 90-year-old veteran was taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital early Monday morning, according to PTI.

Hospital sources told the news agency, “She was brought to hospital at 2 am. She is critical and in ICU.”

Mangeshkar’s sister, Usha was cited saying, “Lata didi is still in hospital. She is under observation. She is doing absolutely well and is stable. She will be discharged by tomorrow. We thought it”s better to treat her at a hospital because of the viral infection so she is there for today.”

Asha Bhosle was also seen visiting her sister at the hospital.
