After being crowned together at Miss India 2000, Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra also started their Bollywood careers together. While Dutta is all set to return to B-town post her maternity leave, Chopra is busy balancing work in India with work in the USA. Dutta admits that the industry is filled with people who are not happy seeing other’s success but claims she wisheswell for Chopra.

When questioned about Chopra’s debut American TV show ‘Quantico’, Dutta said toDNA India, “I think it’s incredible what the girl has been able to accomplish. The entire country is looking forward to it. Unfortunately, in our line people are not so happy with other people’s success, but the energy that is shown around PC’s show is of the rare kind. The industry people are behind her and I genuinely hope this girl is able to break through.”

Dutta was further asked whether she would want to cross over to work in the west, to which she added, “I had the offers and the opportunity during my time as Miss Universe. It would have entailed me and my family moving to the States, but I chose not to do that.”

The first episode of Chopra’s ‘Quantico’ aired in the USA this gone weekend and will also be launched on Indian television this week.
