Lara Dutta wants to turn director

Lara Dutta, who turned producer a few years ago with ‘Chalo Dilli’ (2011), is looking forward to donning the director’s hat.�� While the actress is not quite ready for the shift just yet, she hopes to turn director in the near future.

Speaking to DNA India, Dutta said, “I would love to direct, but technically I am not prepared for it.�� My energies are focused on producing my films.”

Dutta recently returned to acting after a short maternity break, with ‘Singh Is Bliing’ (2015).�� She will also be seen acting in ‘Fitoor’ and ‘Azhar’ next year.

On the production front, she has two films lined up for next year, one of which is ‘Chalo China’ – a sequel to ‘Chalo Dilli’.
