Lara Dutta confirms she plays new character in ‘Fitoor’

Charles Dickens�۪ ��Great Expectations�۪ will soon be wowing Bollywood audiences in the form of Abhishek Kapoor directed ��Fitoor�۪. Lara Dutta has confirmed that her character in the film is one that doesn�۪t exist in the original story.

During a ��Singh is Bliing�۪ promotional event, Dutta said, according to Pinkvilla, ���Gattu (Abhishek Kapoor) and I have known each other since we were teenagers. Both of us had done a music video together years ago, which we call our masterpiece (laugh). We kept in touch. When he came over and narrated�� the character to me I found it interesting. It is the only character that does not exist in the book. It also gave me an opportunity to work with the newer lot�� of actors�۝.

Aditya Roy Kapur, Katrina Kaif and Tabu play the main roles in the film. Ajay Devgn is also reportedly going to be seen in a cameo part.
