ZEE Network’s nostalgic channel Lamhe will be broadcasting the classic Shah Rukh Khan fiction ‘Fauji’, starting this weekend.

‘Fauji’ marks the first time viewers were treated to the talent that went on to rule the hearts of billions across the globe King Khan, who celebrated his 49th birthday only a few days ago.

It was the TV series ‘Fauji’ that transformed Khan into an overnight heartthrob. The character he played, Abhimanyu Rai gained instant popularity due to its charm, peppiness, and the exuberance with which SRK essayed the role and made him a popular household name

‘Fauji’ focuses on a batch of trainees in a commando school, their training and eventual induction as soldiers whose mission is National Security and defence of India from external threats and maintaining peace and security within the borders. Whilst presenting life in an army school the show also looks up close on the emotions of these otherwise tough looking men.

‘Fauji’ will air Sundays at 19:30 on Lamhe.
