ZEE Network UK has launched new channel Lamhe in the UK today, a service, showcasing classic ZEE TV shows and nostalgic Bollywood movies.

Lamhe will broadcast two classic Bollywood movies per day with old ZEE TV shows such as Saat Phere۪, Astitva Ek Prem Kahani۪, Koshish EK Asha۪, Kasamh Se۪ and Amanat۪.

ZEE Caf̩ UK initially launched in 2010 as a regional language, news and sport channel and underwent various makeovers. The latest to rebrand it as Lamhe sees ZEE Network UK drop the ‘ZEE’ prefix from its brand to give it a wider appeal.

Lamhe will be the latest free-to-air channel in the UK market and will compete directly with the likes of Rishtey, Sony SAB TV, Sahara One and UMP Movies.

Lamhe is ZEE Network’s latest channel to launch in the UK. Next month, it launches ZEE News – a dedicated news service bringing UK viewers local news, plus updates from South Asia.

Lamhe is be available free-to-air on Sky Digital channel 798. It also broadcasts on Virgin Media channel 811.
