Actor Laksh, who plays the title role in Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s ‘Porus’, says that this has been his most challenging role so far. The actor has been part of show such as ‘Humari Adhuri Kahani’ and ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’, says that he cannot compare this role to anything that he has played before. “I can’t compare any of the characters that I’ve played till now, as all of them were very different from each other. But if I talk about Porus, it’s the most challenging of them all. I feel very thankful that I got to play this character. I’m putting in my best and now let’s just hope that the audience likes it too,” he says.

Talking about playing ‘Porus’, he says, “Porus isn’t just a lover boy or a warrior. He’s a blend of it all. This character allowed me to discover myself as an actor and grow. I am playing more than just an angry young man. Porus is an emotional person who feels for others and is a warrior at the same time. He’s a warrior with a cause.”

In fact, Laksh has put in a lot of preparation for the role. “From my physical appearance to my accent, I’ve worked on it all. I’ve gained 5-6 kg. Even the body language that I’ve incorporated is different from usual,” he says, adding, “Along with horse riding, I also learnt sword fighting, rowing, scuba diving and parkour as well.
