‘Ladies Special’ to return on Sony TV for new season?

Sony Entertainment Television is rumoured to be working on the second season of ‘Ladies Special’, which initially aired nine years ago.

The show, which starred Neena Gupta, Shilpa Tulaskar, Ashita Dhawan and Payal Sarkar, was about four female leads, who travelled by train and their lives were unravelled in parallel.

At the time, the show received critical acclaim but did not do much in terms of ratings. With the change in audiences watching television currently, Sony TV is reportedly planning to revive the series with a new cast. It is expected to go on the floors in September.
