‘Kya Super Kool Hain Hum’ first look pokes fun at K3G

Viewers will recognise a few very famous scenes from Karan Johar۪s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ (2001) in the promos of Sachin Yardi۪sforthcoming Kya Super Kool Hain Hum’ which is slated for release in August.

The intention of these scenes are to point out to viewers that the film is not a family film, and for viewers to recognise exactly what the film evokes.According to Hindustan Times, during the first look launch,Riteish Deshmukh, told reporters, We are not making fun of it [K3G]. It’s about having fun and enjoying ourselves…۝

Deshmukhwent on to say”…None of the footage that we used in the film can be used without the permission of the filmmaker. Hats off to Karan [Johar] who has a sense of humour…۝

Alongside Deshmukh, the sequel of Kya Kool Hain Hum (2005)۪ will also star Tusshar Kapoor, Neha Sharma and Sarah-Jane Dias.
