Kunal Khemu signed ‘Guddu Ki Gun’ after Soha Ali Khan’s request

Kunal Khemu, who recently married the love of his life Soha Ali Khan, surprised all by taking on the adult comedy movie ‘Guddu Ki Gun’, but refuting all speculation, the actor has clarified that he signed the project only after his wife insisted.

“I remember, when the directors of the film met me and discussed the idea, I just heard one line and said, ‘no I am not doing it. Please leave’,” Khemu told Mid-Day.

“But, when Soha read the script she said after Go Goa Gone, this is the comedy I should do because it is hilarious and it has very intelligently written script,” he added.

‘Guddu Ki Gun’, directed by Shantanu Ray Chhibber and Sheershak Anand, will also see Payel Sarkar and Aparna Sharma in leading roles.

The film will also have a clash with Soha Ali Khan and Vir Das’ upcoming flick ’31st October’ as both the movies are scheduled to hit silver screens on 30th October.
