Kunal Kapoor turns writer

As more and more Bollywood personalities take on different professions, another actor jumping on the multi-talent bandwagon, is ‘Rang De Basanti’ (2006) actor Kunal Kapoor.

His forthcoming film, ‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’ will not only see Kapoor credited as an actor, but also as a writer. As reported by Hindustan Times, Kapoor explains, “I had written the story and then Sameer and I worked on it for a while before we pitched it to Anurag (Kashyap). He loved the story and instantly gave a go-ahead to make the film.”

And the actor seems to be on a role with wanting to write more, “This film is my first as a writer, but I hope I come up with many more stories that can be made into films in the future,” Kapoor says. The film will be a comedy based around a family full of different characters and their search of a secret family recipe named Chicken Khurana.

Releasing on 2nd November ‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’ will aslo star emerging actress Huma Qureshi.
