Kunaal Roy Kapur has recently signed a romantic comedy film ‘Hum Dono Honge Kamyab’ which is directed by Vishal Mishra and sees him starring opposite Tara Alisha Berry.
Speaking to Mid-Day, Roy Kapur said “I enjoyed the script and had multiple meetings with Vishal Mishra (director). I play the role of a guy from Kanpur, a world I am not familiar with. It’s challenging, but that’s the fun of being an actor.”
The actor also went on to speak about his family including his relationship with his brothers, producer Siddharth Roy Kapur and fellow actor Aditya Roy Kapur as well as his pride for his sister in law – Vidya Balan. “We enjoy each other’s company. Generally, we make it a point to eat together so that we can bond as a family.” Speaking about Balan, the actor said “She is a wonderful actress. Her recent successes speak volume about her talent.”
Roy Kapur has tasted success in films such as ‘Delhi Belly’ (2011) and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ (2013) but the solo-hero blockbuster has eluded his career graph so far. The actor also has Ankush Bhatt’s dark comedy film in his portfolio which is due for a 2017 release.
