Kudos to Aamir Khan for ‘Satyamev Jayate’

Critically acclaimed actor-producer Aamir Khan made his TV debut earlier today with ‘Satyamev Jayate’. Many Bollywood celebrities took to micro-blogging site Twitter to congratulate Khan on the show which is said to have touched on the��important social issue of female foeticide.

Actress Preity Zinta, who Khan was paired with in 2001’s ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ said, “Watching Aamir Khan on Satyamev Jayate discussing Female Foeticide ! I love this effort from him and thank him as a woman”.

Salman Khan also tweeted his support by telling his followers to watch the show, “Spend your Sunday with Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate on Star Plus. Don’t miss it sharp 11 am!!”

Others who praised Khan’s efforts include Farhan Akhtar, Ken Ghosh, Dia Mirza and Shabana Azmi.
