KRK as creative consultant for Emraan Hashmi’s film

In the midst of his debut production, Emraan Hashmi seems to be making some of the most interesting decisions to ensure its success. Apparently, he has taken self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan on as a creative consultant for the film.

As Mumbai Mirror reports, the film titled ‘Captain Nawab’ was rumoured to have Khan on as a co-producer, however he later justified that he’s only there to help with the creative process instead of it’s finances.

“I am helping the team on their script. I have been advising about what integral elements are required to be incorporated. Director Tony D’souza is a good friend so whenever he asks for my advice I’m always available to help as a creative consultant. Zee is producing the film,” Khan revealed.

Hashmi will also be playing the lead in the film and, from the looks of the first promo poster, his character is wearing half an Indian army uniform and the other half a Pakistan army uniform. When quizzed on the image in relation to the film, D’Souza just said, “That’s the DNA of the film. I know it’ll spark off assumptions but I’ll hold the suspense for now.”
