Rumours over the past few days have suggested that Kriti Sanon has walked out of ‘Womaniya’, a film, which also stars Taapsee Pannu.
DNA India sources have denied reports that Sanon has left the project. It said, “Kriti has not yet opted out of the film. It’s true that there are date issues, but the actress and her team are trying to work things out. They are constantly in touch with the producers — Phantom Films (primarily filmmaker Vikas Bahl, as he is more involved with this movie), but are yet to figure out a solution.”
It added, “When Kriti and Taapsee signed the biopic, it was supposed to go on floors this April and wrap up by June. Both the actresses had given their dates, but the project failed to take off and got pushed further.”
The report adds that due to Sanon’s working commitments, she is unable to begin work on ‘Womaniya’ until next April. Reportedly, she has conveyed it to the makers and told them to go ahead with someone else if they have to.
