Kriti Sanon replaces Taapsee Pannu in thriller?

John Abraham and Taapsee Pannu were set to star with each other in an upcoming thriller adapted from the Spanish film ‘The Invisible Guest’ (2016). DNA reveals that Kriti Sanon has now replaced Pannu in the film.

A source said that, “The film is being jointly produced by John Abraham Entertainment, KriArj Entertainment and Sunir Kheterpal. There was a disagreement between the makers regarding the female lead.”

Kheterpal, who acquired the rights for the Spanish thriller had reportedly promised the role to Pannu before KriArj Entertainment were brought onto the project. Abraham, who produced ‘Rocky Handsome’ (2016) for Kheterpal was also happy with Pannu taking lead. However KriArj Entertainment had other ideas. After discussions, it was decided that Sanon was more suited to the role. Abraham agreed and the film was offered to Sanon who gladly accepted.
