Recent release ‘Luka Chuppi’ has placed Kriti Sanon on yet another winner after the success of last year’s ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’. The actress has recently spoken about the success of the film and the appreciation she’s received for the character she portrayed, Rashmi.
“Rashmi is a perfect combination of a small-town girl with modern thinking. Rashmi is a girl-next-door and someone who has a strong opinion. That is something I could relate to, as well. I am strong-headed as a person. That is what attracted me to the character,” said Sanon, as quoted by Mid-Day.
The film has proven to be the highest opener of her career. In reaction to this, she said, “I followed my gut and it feels nice that the film is resonating with people”.
In the film, she shares the screen with Kartik Aaryan for the first time.
