Kriti Sanon makes her debut item number in ‘Stree’

Kriti Sanon will be making her item song debut in Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Stree’. Sanon now joins Nora Fatehi who was also recently signed up for a separate song.

Reported on DNA India, a source confirmed Sanon’s dance number will be to a song called ‘Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe’. “Kriti Sanon has been roped in for a song in Stree. Composed by Sachin-Jigar, it’s called Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe.” Further adding, “The film’s co-producers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are known for their quirky humour. They felt this would be an interesting phrase in a song. It’s also a catchy title, something that works for the film as they are majorly targeting that audience.” The track also features Badshah who had provided the rap element in the song.

The source added, “Dinesh Vijan and Kriti are buddies, so when he bounced off the idea to her, she agreed immediately.”

The source also confirmed that the ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ (2017) star has completed shooting for the item number and shares when the song and video will be released. “Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe is an out-and-out dance number. The makers will launch it in the last week, just prior to the movie’s release. It will be used for promotional purposes and will be shown during the film’s end credits. Kriti sports a different avatar in it and is joined by Rajkummar, too, on screen.”

‘Stree’ which is a horror rom-com is slated to release on the 31st August.
