Kriti Sanon happy with her role in Heropanti۪
In the past, actresses who have debuted with star sons have often felt insecurity as the films were seen to be the star sons۪ big launch-pads, leaving one to wonder what the actresses could possibly have to do. Be it Juhi Chawla opposite Aamir Khan in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak۪ (1988) or Amisha Patel opposite Hrithik Roshan in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai۪ (2000), both actresses had apparently gone on record to say that their hero had been favoured. Kriti Sanon, however, says she was convinced of her character۪s importance.
The script is such that it had scope for both our characters, Babloo and Dimpi. Before signing the film, I considered everything thoroughly and was convinced that my character would have as much as importance as the hero۪s, Kriti told Absolute India.
Sanon made her debut with the recently released Heropanti۪ opposite Jackie Shroff۪s son, Tiger Shroff. The film, which is doing well at the Box Office, has won appreciation from both the audience and critics. Both Sanon and Shroff are being touted as talented and promising newcomers.
