Kriti Sanon glad about appreciation for ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s ‘Bareily Ki Barfi’ which released last week has been creating waves at the box office. Female lead Kriti Sanon has expressed how glad she is that her performance is being appreciated.

Talking to Filmfare, Sanon said, “As actors, we put in a lot of effort into our work. It gets annoying when the focus shifts from our work to personal life. I am glad that with Bareilly Ki Barfi, my work is being appreciated and spoken about… I was nervous initially. But when the trailer was loved by the audience, it instilled confidence in me”.

Sanon’s previous release ‘Raabta’ earlier this year didn’t fare well with audiences or at the box office even though she was praised for her performance.
