Dinesh Vijan’s directorial debut, ‘Raabta’, will see female lead Kriti Sanon doing her first action scenes. The actress says she’s excited about them.
“I have always wanted to do action sequences. I find them exciting. But, they are also difficult and physically draining at times,” said Sanon, according to Hindustan Times.
On preparing for the scenes, Sanon adds, “The biggest challenge was building my strength, which one can only do gradually. Weight training and Pilates helped me achieve that goal. I did mixed martial arts to get the right body language”.
She apparently started working out everyday for two hours for the role, “This is something I۪ve never done in my life. I۪ve never been into sports, even as a kid. So, my body isn۪t used to so much physical activity. It۪s a lot of hard work”.
‘Raabta’ will see Sanon share the screen with Sushant Singh Rajput. Deepika Padukone will be seen in an item song for the film.
