Kriti Sanon: “Comedy is much needed in today’s time”

Kriti Sanon is gearing up for her next film, which will be a comedy with Diljit Dosanjh called ‘Arjun Patiala’.

Asked how she felt about doing another comedy film after the success of ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, Sanon was cited in Deccan Chronicle saying, “I am getting attracted to these kinds of scripts. I also like watching such films and as an actor, I tend to do films that I like to watch. Comedy is much needed in today’s time as there is a lot of stress in everybody’s life.”

“Arjun Patiala may not seem funny on paper but the way it is performed and how everyone reacts to a situation makes everything funny. There’s always a different reason to pick a script every time and I did this film was for the fun ride it promised,” she added.
