Kohinoor Radio goes off-air due to building fire

Leicester based Punjabi community station, Kohinoor Radio has been forced off-air due to a huge fire at a nearby building.

The station, which is situated on St Saviours Rd, put up a message on its Facebook saying that it will be off-air until further notice.

A post on the station’s Facebook read: “Important message for all our listeners. There was a fire early this morning in a fatory next to Kohnioor Radio’s unit. This has caused extensive damage to the radio station hence we are currently off-air. We will keep everyone updates as we get further information.”
