KJo to host a grand birthday bash for Manish Malhotra

Filmmaker Karan Johar will be ushering his close pal, Manish Malhotra’s 50th birthday in a grand way.

According to Mumbai Mirror, Malhotra, who celebrates his 50th on 5th December, will be given a grand celebration by Johar. The two met on the sets of 1993’s ‘Gumrah’.

A source told the publication, “Everyone who’s been associated with Manish all these years will be invited. The invitations roll out on Monday. Everyone from Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan to Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, among many others, are expected to turn up. A suburban five-star has been booked.”

A source added, “The dress code is formal with a touch of gold as it is Manish’s 50th birthday. Besides exotic cuisine, there will also be several Punjabi dishes which both KJo and Manish love on the buffet.”
