It’s been two years since we last saw Shah Rukh Khan work with filmmaker, Karan Johar in ‘My Name Is Khan’ (2010) but that is about to change, according to reports.
KJo is expected to direct the Bollywood superstar in a special film that commemorates the completion of 100 years of Indian cinema. Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee will also collaborate on the project.
Mid-Day reports that the Khan episode will last up to half an hour. Akhtar’s part in the film will see Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif come together, while Basu and Banerjee’s films’ cast are yet to be confirmed.
‘Bombay Talkies’ will be a light take on how the film industry started and how it has become the biggest in the world today. All four episodes will come together as one feature film, with a release around May 2013.
