KJo & Guneet Monga to hail remake of ‘The Intouchables’

Karan Johar remains in the news after Hrithik Roshan having walked out of ��Shuddhi�۪. However, BizAsia has learnt that the producer, along with Guneet Monga of Anurag Kashyap Films, is ready to hail the Bollywood remake of French movie ��The Intouchables�۪.

A spokesperson of Johar has confirmed the news. Johar himself spoke about the project, ���When the prospect of being able to remake was brought to me, I jumped at the opportunity�۝. Monga was also enthusiastic about the forthcoming venture, admitting that both her and Johar were huge fans of the film.

���The international performance of `The Intouchables` validates its commercial potential and we are confident that the film will do great business in India too,�۝ Monga added.
