KJo confirms ‘Dostana 2’ currently stalled

Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra starrer ��Dostana�۪ (2008) created waves when it released. Audiences have been looking forward to its sequel for some time and there was some hope from director Tarun Mansukhani not so long ago. However, producer Karan Johar has confirmed that the second instalment is still on hold.

According to Hindustan Times, Johar said, ���Blending a sensitive subject with entertainment is always difficult. Also, I have always believed that a sequel should better the first part. So, Tarun Mansukhani; (director) and I have decided to keep the film aside. When we find the right plot line, we will definitely make it�۝.

Johar confirmed that Mansukhani is currently working on the script of the remake of ��Priceless�۪ (2006) which he is very excited about. The film is set to have Sidharth Malhotra in the male lead role.

Johar also revealed that he is completing the script of his next directorial and hope to start filming next year, once the cast and further details have been finalised.
