Kismat Radio makes official Sky launch


London based Asian radio station Kismat Radio has offically launched this morning on Sky EPG 923.

Sunrise Radio owned Kismat Radio replaced Easy Radio in December 2004 and has been testing for a few months.

On it’s website it states “Kismat is a station principally for adults in the Asian communities around London. It will broadcast speech with an emphasis on news, debate and discussion relevant to London’s million plus Asians and a mix of popular forms of music including Asian Gold & Hits, Folk music, Qawaalis, Ghazals and religious music.”

Kismat Radio joins sister stations Yaar Radio and Sunrise Radio on Sky Digital.
