Kiran Rao plays mentor to Aamir Khan’s ex-manager?

With more and more newcomers get their feet in the Bollywood door, news has it, actor Aamir Khan’s former manager Advait Chandan��is now trying his luck with directing. What’s more interesting is that whilst Khan is lending a helping hand, it’s his wife Kiran Rao who is actually playing mentor to Chandan.

According to Mid-Day, Chandan has already started shooting the yet untitled venture, starting in Vadodra, Gujrat. A source was reported revealing, “Though there had been buzz about the film for the past year, the shoot has just started. Kiran has been shuttling between Vadodara and Mumbai. Even when she is here, she is aware of the daily shoot schedules.”

Apparently Chandan has signed debut actors for the leading parts, however Khan will also be making an appearance in the film. Though the project has been kept under wraps, reports have it that the film is based on an aspiring singer who wants to make it big on the music scene. News further suggests that Khan’s role in the film is that of a music composer.
