Kiku Sharda plays dance teacher to SRK in ‘Happy New Year’

Comedian Kiku Sharda, most popularly known to play Palak in ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’, has landed a Bollywood role, it has emerged. He will be seen in ‘Happy New Year’ as Shah Rukh Khan’s dance teacher.

Talking to PTI, Sharda revealed, “I bagged the role from ��Comedy Nights With Kapil�۪. Farah saw some episodes of the show and she really liked me in it. When she came on the show she told me about the part. I am teaching dance to Shah Rukh, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Abhishek Bachchan in the film”.

“SRK is a gem of a person. He told me that he is a keen viewer of ��Comedy Nights with Kapil�۪ and his family records those episodes which he misses during shooting schedules,” he continued.

Sharda will be seen as Palak in the forthcoming season of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’.
