‘Kick’ London-Glasgow shoot shifts to Mumbai

Salman Khan’s UK visa issues have put a big spanner in the works for the schedule of the forthcoming ‘Kick’ which was due to have portions shot in both London and Glasgow. So much so has been the delay and frustration on the matter that the producers and unit have now shifted base to Mumbai.

BizAsia understands that director Sajid Nadiadwala and Randeep Hooda, who is also featuring in the movie, have completed the latter’s necessary scenes in London and Glasgow with a body double of Khan. However, because Khan himself is unable to be there and to the celebrations of ��both Eid and Raksha Bandhan, it is thought the movie will now be shot in Mumbai.

A source told Business of Cinema, “Whatever was shot in Glasgow, will be retained. There is no certainty about Kick�۪s London schedule for now. And it is not clear if the portions will be shot in another foreign location. For now it will be the Mumbai schedule which was anyway going to start in October”.

Khan will be in the city of Mumbai for the foreseeable what with his next court hearing being next week on 5th September.
