Kiara Advani on being “sidelined” for Dhoni biopic promos

It seems that the focus of the upcoming biopic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ has been on Sushant Singh Rajput who plays Dhoni himself.��However, the two actresses, Kiara Advani and Disha Patani have not had much exposure on the promotions compared to Rajput.

Speaking to Mid-Day, Advani said, “I always knew what I was getting into and had no qualms about it. Every character in the film is instrumental in taking Dhoni’s story forward”.�� She feels luck to be part of the film especially with Neeraj Pandey, “Being directed by him in just your second film is an honour. This is the kind of film that makes history and finds its place on people’s DVD shelves. No role is small or big; it is up to the actor to make the most of it. When Sakshi watched the film, she complimented my pairing with Sushant.”

The film has already landed her in Abbas Mustan’s forthcoming film ‘Machine’, with his son, Mustafa.�� She commented that, “If you have watched Abbas-Mustan movies, whether Aitraaz or Baazigar, women have meaty roles. That will be my breakthrough film.”

‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ will be releasing on 30th September.
