‘Ki and Ka’ not an “image breaking move” for Arjun Kapoor

The promos of R Balki’s ‘Ki and Ka’ are promising something new to the audience, with the film projecting a reversal of society-built gender roles. The��film’s leading,��Arjun Kapoor, claims that signing this movie was not an “image breaking move” for him.

PTI quote the actor as saying, “Many people are calling it a gutsy move. I don’t think it is only that. When a director sees that capability in you… I never saw myself like that… We were always told that you have to look macho, do action but I have a soft side to me which Balki sir saw. I am somebody, who was close to his mom, so this also appealed to me. I never saw it as an image breaking move.”

‘Ki and Ka’ stars Arjun Kapoor opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film is slated to release on 1st April.
