Khushi Kapoor lined-up to star in sequel of late mother Sridevi’s ‘Mom’
Boney Kapoor is reportedly fast-tracking plans to bring the sequel of ‘Mom’ to fruition.
The film, which originally starred Kapoor’s late wife and legendary actress Sridevi, will now feature their daughter, Khushi Kapoor, in the lead role.
Speaking about the project, Boney shared, “I have watched all of Khushi’s films – ‘The Archies’, ‘Loveyapa’, and ‘Nadaaniyan’. I am planning a film with her as well after ‘No Entry’. It might even be ‘Mom 2’. She is striving to follow in her mother’s footsteps. Her mother was a top star across all languages she worked in. I hope both Khushi and Janhvi achieve the same level of excellence.”
