‘Kesari’ trailer to release as scheduled despite Pulwama terror attack

Akshay Kumar’s next ‘Kesari’ has intrigued many globally. The three part #GlimpsesofKesari has heightened curiosity levels, and the trailer launch will go as planned on 21st February. Many film launches were cancelled after the Pulwama attack but trade sources feel that it is the right time to launch the trailer as the film highlights patriotism.

Deccan Chronicle reports a trade source saying, “The nation talking about sacrifices of the jawaans today. Kesari also talks about the sacrifices of 21 jawaans over a hundred years ago. The makers had held on for a couple of days and then decided to drop the trailer.”

Another trade source added that there will be a special preview before the trailer launch. “A special preview has been kept and then the trailer will hit the social media on Thursday. It is not advisable to delay the trailer for a long time because it takes a while for the trailer to catch on and then the actors and the crew get on with the promotion of the film in the physical space through events and media interviews.”

‘Kesari’ also stars Parineeti Chopra and is slated for a 21st March release.
