‘Kedarnath’ in trouble for ‘tainting’ the Hindu shrine

A petition has filed in the Uttarakhand High Court against Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kedarnath’ after the film was accused of hurting Hindu sentiments.
The petition was filed on Tuesday by Swami Darshan Bharti, who alleges that the film is an “ugly taint” on the Hindu shrine. He has also alleged that Lord Kedarnath has been insulted in the film.
Furthermore, the petition claims that the trailer of the film shows Muslims residing in the area, while there are no residents from the Muslim community in the area.
The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan. It releases this Friday.
