‘KBC’ and ‘Bigg Boss’ to launch on same day?

Sony Entertainment Television Asia and Colors are getting ready for a television war in October when their shows ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 4’ and ‘Bigg Boss 4’ will launch on the same day.

If reports out today are to believed then both shows will launch on Monday 11th October. It�۪s already been confirmed by ‘KBC 4’ host Amitabh Bachchan that the gameshow will launch on this day. However, broadcaster Sony TV has been tightlipped about the start date. Sony TV is now waiting for an official announcement from Colors about the start date of its Indian ‘Big Brother’ series before divulging telecast details of ‘KBC 4’.

A source told ZEE News, “The show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 4’ will lock horns with ‘Bigg Boss 4’. It will be an interesting battle.” As of now, the channel in question will wait for the ‘Bigg Boss 4’ date to be announced by its counterpart, and then announce the date when they are launching ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 4’.

But won�۪t that make a tough decision for the viewers, “We are confident of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. The KBC brand is a tried and tested one,” adds the source.
