KBC 2 shooting begins this weekend

The show that changed Indian television – Kaun Banega Crorepati is returing next month. The gameshow hosted by legend Amitabh Bachchan will begin filming the new series tomorrow.

KBC 2, as the show will be known as, will run for 85 episodes, from August 2005 to February 2006 (India only). To herald the arrival of their biggest show, STAR has revamped their entire weekend line-up. Due to legal reasons, STAR Plus UK will not be screening the show immediately but there is a possibility of the series being aired later.

As the countdown begins to what was, inarguably, the biggest show on Indian television, producer-director Siddhartha Basu says, ?We are ready to roll. KBC 2 is finally happening.? Basu and his team were ?on their marks? waiting for the green signal for the show to restart ever since it took a season?s break in 2002.
