Katrina opens up about replacing Deepika in Aanand L Rai’s film

Over the past few days, rumours have been rife of Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma bagging the lead roles opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Aanand L Rai’s next.

Since then it emerged that Padukone, who was reportedly one of the earlier choices, was replaced by Kaif. However, the latter has denied this. In a report by DNA India, Kaif dismissed these rumours. She told the publication, “I don’t think any actor in today’s day and age is going around putting stipulations on their director. I am not comfortable talking about or having discussions on any film. I would rather like to give the directors their professional space to sort out or go through this process.”

Earlier this week, there were reports that Kaif and Padukone had ended their cold war.
