Katrina on missing Kabir Khan on ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ sets

With ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ currently being shot in Morocco, Katrina Kaif has expressed how she misses Kabir Khan, who helmed the 2012 prequel ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.

Kaif has worked with Khan in various films including ‘New York’ in 2009 and ‘Phantom’ in 2015. However, for the sequel ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, the film is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Talking about this, Kaif told Mid-Day, “Kabir is passionate about movies. He was one of my first few friends in the industry. We miss him on set, but that’s how the industry works. You get close to people you work with, but then we go our different ways. I do feel the void.”

She also spoke about working with Zafar, “I like Ali’s vision. He is a dear friend. I tell him that Tiger Zinda Hai is a huge responsibility. His last film Sultan (2016) was loved by the audience, so he can’t afford to be complacent. He is working hard. We shot some amazing action sequence last month.”

‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ releases on 22nd December 2017.
