Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle’s ‘Dr Cabbie’ releases online-only

Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle’s hopes of a huge launch pad in Bollywood have been dashed after her debut ‘Dr Cabbie’ was released directly online.

The film, which was touted for a cinema release last year, did not get the desired theatrical release. Instead, Salman Khan took to Twitter to announce the film’s availability online, “‘Dr Cabbie’ is now in India. Only on Hotstar.”

A source told Mid-Day, “The film released on DVD in the US and Canada a while ago. Everyone was banking on Salman to release it in India, but things did not work out, and finally it has managed an online release.”

‘Dr Cabbie’ was unveiled at an event in Toronto in 2014.
