Katrina Kaif to write a book on her Bollywood journey?

Katrina Kaif has shared that she may write a book about her Bollywood journey which spans over 15 years. Having faced her fair share of ups and downs, Kaif thinks a book is the best way to tell her story.

Reported in the Hindustan Times, Kaif who made her debut with ‘Boom’ (2003), faced criticism on her acting and dancing abilities, so when asked how she has handled herself in the industry, the ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017) actress says it’s better to answer this in the book. “I educated myself (about the industry) but I might write a book (on it), so I won’t waste the answer now. I seriously might write a book,” says Kaif.

Reflecting on setbacks, the ‘Jagga Jasoos’ (2017) star consider these as stepping stones to her success. “You need to have a balanced attitude to life, need to accept that failures, hardships and hard times — for me definitely — they are the biggest teachers. They (failures) are the biggest steps. Once you get there, then you reach higher. You need them. Hardship and failures taught me to evolve and reach the next step.”

The ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ (2016) actress also went on to tell that she had no plan B if Bollywood didn’t work out for her. “There was no back-up plan. Having a plan B is like accepting failure. I have never had a plan B for anything. You can say that is not the correct way to go (about something) maybe.”

Talking about her work as an ambassador for a NGO supporting education for girls, Kaif says more awareness needs to be raised surrounding the inequality between privileged and underprivileged , “The more we ignore it, the more we are living in denial.”

Kaif is currently working on her next with Shar Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, in Aanand L. Rai’s ‘Zero’.
