Katrina Kaif would love to do ‘ABCD’

Over the years, Katrina Kaif has arguably developed into one of the finest dancers Bollywood has. Sheila Ki Jawaani (‘Tees Maar Khan’), Chikni Chameli (‘Agneepath’),��Kamli (‘Dhoom 3’) and the most recent, Pashmina (‘Fitoor’), are just some of Kaif’s successful dance numbers. The actress believes dance is a way to express unexpressed emotions, and states she would love to do a dance film like Remo D’Souza’s ‘ABCD’ franchise.

Speaking to DNA India, Kaif said, “I would love to perform in one and be a part of a dance movie like ‘Flashdance’ or closer home, something like ‘ABCD’. Dance, for me, is a way of expressing my emotions which are left unexpressed. There are times when if I feel really low or just don�۪t know what to do, there are certain songs that I listen to… it�۪s speaking the words of your heart. It�۪s almost like someone is expressing what you feel inside and putting it into words, the lyrics sometimes conveying what�۪s wrong. Music can do that for me.”

Kaif believes dance has been a gradual learning process for her, as she did not start off very naturally.

The actress will next be seen in Abhishek Kapoor’s��’Fitoor’, alongside��Aditya Roy Kapur and Tabu. The film releases on 12th February.
