Katrina Kaif wears her own wardrobe for ‘Ek Tha Tiger’

‘Ek Tha Tiger’ promotions and first looks have taken the Bollywood world by storm. The film, which releases in August, will star Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. It has been revealed that director Kabir Khan insisted that Kaif wear clothes from her own wardrobe for the movie.

As claimed by Mid-Day, Kaif was more than happy to oblige when she was told her look would be that of an ordinary girl. One of her friends confirmed, “Katrina loves dressing in casuals. She hates getting dolled up and wearing makeup. She is all smiles during the Ek Tha Tiger shoots”.

A source close to Kaif has also said, “She is dressed like an average city girl in Ek Tha Tiger. It�۪s the ��real�۪ her, the way she is off screen. She even dug into her own wardrobe for this part. For Yashji�۪s film, however, Katrina has been given a chic appearance, so even a ��casual�۪ song in the park is being worked upon in great detail”. Kaif is, of course, a part of Yash Raj Films untitled project opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

The actress, it seems, will be seen in totally contrasting roles in her films this year. A source close to both movies comments,��”The difference between Katrina�۪s look in Ek Tha Tiger and Yashji�۪s film is the difference between the girl next door and the girl next door to the most romantic guy”.

Yash Chopra, who is directing the yet untitled film, has gone on record to say a song penned by Gulzar and composed by AR Rahman is to feature Kaif and Khan. He has said it will be his most romantic song to direct to date since the title track of 1976’s ‘Kabhi Kabhie’.
