Katrina Kaif walks out, Priyanka Chopra signed for ‘Gunday’

Yash Raj Films’ forthcoming Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor starrer, ‘Gunday’, was confirmed to have Katrina Kaif on board as female lead. However, in a somewhat unexpected development, Kaif has reportedly walked out of the project and, in her place, Priyanka Chopra has been signed.

As a YRF spokesperson endorsed the news but no other details were given. zoOm TV, on Twitter earlier today, mentioned that Kaif had left the project, choosing the remake of ‘Knight and Day’��opposite Hrithik Roshan��over ‘Gunday’.

‘Gunday’ will go on the floors in December and is a story which spans from 1971 to 1988. It will follow the journey of two characters, played by Singh and Kapoor, who become vigorous personalities within the mafia.
