Katrina Kaif to begin shoot for ‘Sooryavanshi’ end of this month

Following the success of ‘Bharat’ (2019), Katrina Kaif will be focused on her upcoming film with Akshay Kumar, ‘Sooryavanshi’.

Reported by Pinkvilla, the Kaif-Kumar duo reunite after nine years since their last film together ‘Tees Maar Khan’ (2010). Both Kumar and director Rohit Shetty have been in Bangkok shooting for the film, but are due back towards the end of June to start filming the second schedule, when Kaif will join them. The pair will then be shooting at Ramoji City until the end of July.

Praising her co-star, Kaif says she feels at ease working with the ‘Kesari’ (2019) actor. “He’s a thorough professional and very accommodating with his co-star.” Further adding, Kumar is a “chilled-out person to work with.” The ‘Singh Is King’ (2008) stars, will also be shooting for a few songs during this time too.

There is also one other reunion happening in ‘Sooryavanshi’, that being of Gulshan Grover and Kumar. The pair featured in many of the popular 90’s classics, such as, ‘Mohra’ (1994) and ‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi’ (1996). Grover will be doing what he does best in the Shetty directorial, playing the antagonist.
